Dr Diana B. Semmonds
Dr Semmonds has a private practice at St Leonards and is a visiting medical officer to the Intraocular Implant Unit at Sydney Eye Hospital. She operates privately at the Ophthalmic Surgery Centre, Chatswood.
Her interests are general ophthalmology, cataract and refractive surgery.
She has held a number of positions on numerous Boards and Committees including Chair of the Board of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO); Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Hon Secretary of the NSW Branch of RANZCO; Chairman of the National Scientific Congress; Federal Qualification and Education Committee (QEC) member; Overseas Trained Specialist Panel member; Director on the Board of the Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation; Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Sight Foundation Theatre; and the Medical Advisory Committee of the Ophthalmic Surgery Centre. Dr Semmonds was elected as Vice President of the College in 2016.
