Founding Fellow of Australian College of Ophthalmologists – later Royal (RACO) and then RANZCO.
Head of the Retina Unit Sydney Eye Hospital from 1989 to 2000.
Founding member of the Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation on the Board since July 1981, and Junior Vice-President for last 10 years.
Member of Human Research Committee of RANZCO for 12 years to end of 2018. Chair RANZCO Professional Standards Committee from its inception to end of 2018. Founder with Edgar J Donaldson of “Retina Associates” at Chatswood 1977.
Fully retired from active Ophthalmic practice at end of March 2014.
