Supporters of the Foundation can list the organization under the “volunteer and causes” section of their own LinkedIn profile, which helps to strengthen the brand profile of the Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation.

Like other linked in non-profit profiles, the Sydney Eye Foundation profile shows who the staff is that works for the organization. In this case, new hires are new research fellows that the foundation funds to work at the Sydney Eye Hospital. By listing them on the Foundation’s page, other supporters and the public are able to see where else those fellows have previously worked, where they received their medical training, and what experience they bring to the Sydney Eye Hospital. Potential patients are able to be assured that fellows are competent.
